Lake James Family Campground is truly the best place to be on Lake James! We are the closest RV park on the lake to interstate-40, only 4 miles off of exit 94. We are a beautiful lake front, gated, family oriented RV community on Lake James- and, we have a marina onsite.
There is an abundance of clear blue deep water at Lake James Family Campground, with a dock and boat ramp for launching. We also have a roped off swimming area in the lake for the kids to enjoy. The wide open lake and mountain views from this place are unbelievable!
The park has 124 RV sites, 62 of which are lake front, and 62 are interior sites. Every site has a view of Lake James. The marina has 140 wet boat slips that keep you only a step away from turning that key and pulling out on the lake, no backing in to launch, and then loading up at the end of the day. After your finished boating, just pull back in to your slip, jump on the golf cart and head back to your RV site. Can’t get any easier than that!
We are in the process of Adding 51 new RV sites, 33 of them will be in the RV park and 18 of them will be in the marina. Our goal is to have them on line for the 2017 camping season along with a new bathhouse.
Our sites are rented on an annual basis, we provide water and sewer, the electric is metered at each site and is paid by the renter. We have capacity of 200 amps at each site with new 50-30-20 amp RV pedestals.
The RV park is open from mid March to mid November, the marina is open year round. Come by and check us out…
