Jefferson County Lake is a wonderful place to spend the day with a number of amenities and low fees assessed for maintenance and improvements (fees displayed below). The lake fills naturally and is normally full the first week of July. Amenities include 50 campsites with water and electric hookups, bathrooms, volleyball nets, playground equipment, a tennis court, sandy beaches, a lake slide, grassy areas, walking trails, a boat ramp for non-motorized boats, picnic tables, small shelters on a first come first serve basis outside the camping fee area, and large shelters by reservation only.

Park Regulations
Swim at your own risk.
No glass on beaches, boat dock, or playground.
No littering in any area.
No animals except dogs on a leash.
Do not drive off of pavement.
No alcohol.
Park closed after 10 p.m. except for camping.
Camping quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Fires only in metal fire rings or grills.
Clean campsite prior to leaving.
Maximum stay of five (5) consecutive days.
An Idaho fishing license is required to fish.
No motorboats on the lake.

Take US-20 (south towards Idaho Falls)
Take Exit 322 (first Rigby exit)
At the stop sign turn right onto US-20 Bus/Farnsworth Way
Turn right (northwest) onto Stockham Blvd. (Wendy’s is on left)
Turn right at the stop sign onto Rigby Lake Dr.
Continue on Rigby Lake Dr., lake at the endDirections from Idaho Falls
Take US-20 north towards Yellowstone/Rexburg
Take Exit 322 (second Rigby exit)
At the stop sign turn left onto US-20 Bus/Farnsworth Way
Turn right (northwest) onto Stockham Blvd. (Wendy’s is on left)
Turn right at the stop sign onto Rigby Lake Dr.
