Situated two miles south of the entrance to Yellowstone along the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway, Headwaters Lodge & Cabins offer campsites and cabins a short walk from the Snake River.
The perfect place to unplug and unwind (there is no cell phone service or WiFi), Headwaters is ideal for fly fishing trips, rafting on the Snake River, guided trips through Yellowstone, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, photography and so much more. Be sure to reserve early in the summer.
Pitch your tent in the shadow of towering pines and majestic mountains. No tent? No problem. Camper cabins are scattered throughout the property with bunk beds, picnic tables, an outdoor fire pit and easy access to public restrooms and laundry facilities. Headwaters also has RV sites with full hook-ups.
For something more luxurious, book one of the Headwaters Cabins, which include queen or king beds, private bathrooms, patio, coffee maker (and in some cases mini fridge and microwave). From your doorstep you’ll enjoy hiking trails, plus access to the Snake River.

Our wooded campground is located near the Snake River with views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The campground features 24 hour showers, laundry facilities, tent sites, newly built Camper Cabins, and pull through RV sites with full hook-up (20, 30,50 amp). Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. Reservations are available for the RV Park and Camper Cabins and are highly recommended during summer months.

* A utility fee of $1 per night is imposed on all camping products to defer the higher cost of providing water and sewer in the remote locations in which we operate. The amount of this fee is determined by taking the difference in the cost of providing these services less the comparable cost of similar services the Town of Jackson, WY. This fee is reviewed annually and approved by the National Park Service.

Who needs a tent? Our Camper Cabins are scattered through the campground areas and provide a fun outdoor camping experience. Outside, each cabin is equipped with a fire pit and picnic table. Inside, each cabin features bunk style beds with padding. Camper Cabins don’t offer electricity, bedding, or private restrooms. The shared campground does offer 24-hour shower and laundry facilities. Camper Cabins can accommodate as many as five people with a cot.

The only thing missing is some tall tales, which you’ll have to make up yourself.
